Alcremie Deck

Alcremie had no tournament presence in Everyday Wonders.
Who said abusing sweets was bad? Certainly not the Sweets Overload deck! This list features several one-point Pokémon from Eevee Grove that all revolve around the attack Sweets Relay, which becomes stronger if it was used the previous turn. It may sound limited at first, but a total of 6 Pokémon share this attack: Swirlix, Slurpuff, Milcery, Appletun, Vanillite, and Vanillish. The first three require only Energy, and except for Slurpuff, they all cost just a single Energy. Slurpuff, once online, is also a serious threat, dealing 90 damage for on a sturdy 120 HP Stage 1 body.

But the real star of the deck is Alcremie. Its Sweets Overload attack deals 40 damage times the number of Sweets Relay attacks used throughout the game, for just one Energy. After just three uses of Sweets Relay, it already deals damage on par with a Pokémon ex, and becomes absolutely unstoppable after a few more.

- The Basic-stage Sweets Relay attackers are underwhelming. They deal only 10 damage base, or 30 if Sweets Relay was already used. For comparison, a common benchmark for evolving Basics like Type: Null is an average 30 damage with no setup.

- The Alcremie line is also a poor lead. Milcery has only 50 HP, Alcremie sits at 80 HP, and Sweets Overload needs setup to be effective. Still, you have to protect them: they’re the only real finishers, but only after you've spent the game setting up with the lesser attackers.

- As a typical one-point deck, its representatives suffer from a rather low number of HP that make them fall under most Pokémon ex's attacks.
