Bellibolt ex arrives in Paldean Wonders as a high point card for Lightning Energy acceleration. Its attack, High-Voltage Cannon, scales with the total amount of Energy on your field: With fewer than four Energy in play, it deals a modest 70 damage. Once you reach four or more, that jumps to 140. This lets it two-shot most Pokémon ex and reliably pressure Mega Pokémon ex.
In the consistency department, Tadbulb can be searched with Lisia, and its Charge attack attaches an extra Energy to help reach the four-Energy requirement faster. Lightning decks also have several ways to accelerate Energy beyond the standard one attachment per turn, especially with Electric Generator released in the same expansion. With this level of support, Bellibolt ex stands out as one of the strongest Pokémon in Paldean Wonders.
