Dialga ex Deck

Time catches up with all of us, and Dialga ex embodies that principle perfectly. Though a little sluggish to get going, Dialga’s Metallic Turbo means your energy economy will be booming in the mid- to late-game, fueling the right Pokemon for the matchup or allowing multiple retreats to wear the competition down. Unlike Moltres ex, which Dialga immediately brings to mind, the energy acceleration applies to any Pokémon, not just types. Plus, the attack deals 30 damage to the Defending Pokémon.

Dialga ex ticks by using Metallic Turbo as soon as possible, targeting a 3-Energy attacker like Yanmega ex or Mew ex. The 3 Energy benchmark is crucial, allowing you to retreat Dialga and attack with the main threat after just one Metallic Turbo. If the opponent is off to a slow start theirself, Dialga ex can also stay in and present a decent threat with Heavy Impact, potentially using Dawn to transfer the Energy it just generated.
