Garchomp ex Deck

Garchomp ex is the third Stage 2 Fighting-type Pokémon ex, following Gallade ex and Machamp ex. It’s also the first to feature two different attacks: Linear Attack costs and deals 50 damage to any of your opponent’s Pokémon, while Dragon Claw costs and deals 100 damage.

This seemingly unimpressive series of attack actually makes Garchomp ex a very modular threat. It’s the first Stage 2 Pokémon ex with an attack that requires just a single Energy, allowing it to attack on curve whether you go first or second. Sniping the Bench for 50 damage not only takes out low-HP Basics like other Fossils, Manaphy and Exeggcute but also enables Cyrus plays. Scaling from 50 to 100 damage is enough to KO many key Pokémon ex in the metagame, such as Articuno ex and Dialga ex. Rare Candy has made Garchomp ex drastically better by making this attack usable from turn 3 onward.
