Lucario Deck

3 variants · 54 matches · 9 decklists · 44.4% overall WR since Paradox Drive

Evolved Pokémon with abilities have been big players in the metagame: think Gardevoir, Serperior, Greninja... Now, Lucario joins their ranks with a unique passive ability that boosts the damage of your type Pokémon by 20—and it only needs to evolve once. This is a massive boost for a type known for its speed but, ironically, lacking raw power.

Online as early as turn 2 and built to last, Fighting Coach reshapes the damage output of your attacks and pushes the efficiently costed moves of Pokémon beyond their usual limits. They can now knock out bigger targets in fewer hits; this includes Lucario’s own Submarine Blow attack. Things spiral out of control when you get two Lucario in play, as Fighting Coach stacks, adding a whopping 40 damage to every attack.
