Magcargo Deck

Randomly assigned damage is a unique mechanic in TCG Pocket, taking full advantage of the digital format to explore design space not available in the regular TCG. It has produced some fringe competitive decks, such as Dragonite and Wugtrio ex. Magcargo is one of these high-risk Pokémon, with an even more volatile RNG effect: its Spurt Fire attack deals 3 hits of 50 damage, assigned at random... even to your own Pokémon, except itself.

As a trade-off for this friendly fire, the attack only costs , making it the highest-damage attack on a non-EX Stage 1 Pokémon in TCG Pocket. To use it effectively, you need to play as few Pokémon as possible to reduce the chance of hitting your own. If you like fast games and living dangerously, this is the deck for you.
