Magnezone ex Deck

While the B series puts the spotlight on Mega Pokémon ex, the standard Magnezone ex may have been one of the most anticipated releases in Pokémon TCG Pocket. The regular Magnezone from Space-Time Smackdown has remained relevant for 15 months, thanks to the original Magneton from Genetic Apex and its Energy-accelerating ability, Volt Charge. Thus, a two-point upgrade is a major event in the competitive Pocket environment.
“Upgrade” is the right word to describe Magnezone ex. It closely mirrors the regular Magnezone: its Storm Blade attack deals 20 more damage while still requiring you to discard a Energy, and it comes with an extra 40 HP. These improvements are enough to give the Magnet Pokémon new life. Suicune ex now falls within one-shot range, and Magnezone ex can take more hits than its regular version. Overall, the evolution line is set to remain relevant throughout both the A and B series.
