Magnezone Deck

Magnezone have long been a strategy in Pokémon TCG Pocket, thanks to Magneton's Volt Charge ability to attach a Energy from the Energy Zone each turn. This doesn’t use up your regular Energy attachment and doesn’t require you to run Energy in your deck. It makes both Magneton and Magnezone self-sufficient units, playable in virtually any deck.

As a result, their splashability makes both Magnezone strong options in any deck. Not only that, but they're very strong: the original Magnezone from Space-Time Smackdown deals 110 damage with Thunder Blast, often enough to knock out a Mega Pokémon ex in two hits. The more recent Magnezone from Crimson Blaze has almost entirely replaced it, thanks to a slightly better bulk and its Mirror Shot attack. It doesn't need to discard an Energy, deals a respectable 90 damage, and adds a 50% chance for your opponent's Active Pokémon to miss their next attack if they haven't retreated it.
