Sylveon ex Deck

Professor's Research is the only card ever in Pokémon TCG Pocket to be played as a 2-of in 100% of decks, no exception. Card advantage is everything in a card game, and drawing 2 is a big boost to consistency as it makes easier to access your power cards. Sylveon ex’s Happy Ribbon ability replicates this exact Draw 2 effect, with no cost and no Energy requirement, usable once on the turn it evolves. Running four Draw 2 effects in a single deck is a massive consistency boost, and unsurprisingly, Sylveon ex has entered the pool of relevant archetypes.

While its ability fits into any deck regardless of color, its Fairy Wind attack requires one Energy and one Energy. This makes Sylveon ex a better fit for Psychic decks, where it can deal a respectable 70 damage for 2 Energy.
