Fantastical Parade (B2) release: Card list, Events, Solo Battles

Fantastical Parade (B2) is out! The second main set of the B series features Mega Gardevoir ex and is themed around a festival. This expansion introduces the Trainer subtype Stadium to Pokémon TCG Pocket: their effects affect both players.

You can check the full card list on the expansion page. It's notably the first main set to only contain a single booster pack, although the number of cards in the expansion is pretty similar to any of previous "big sets".

Game updates

  • Message in the Trade feature

When sending a card for Trade, you'll be able to add a message to specify that you're looking for a card in your wishlist, or a card in a different language.

  • Random Solo battle

A new Solo battle option will be added to the roster: Random Battle. You'll face a completely random deck when you start the battle. The possible decks available are unknown, but they could be taken from the pool of currently existing Step-Up battles. There seems to be levels of Random Battles similar to Step-Up battles, with a reward for the first time you complete them as well as Battle tasks.

Fantastical Parade events

We're now back to a one-month duration for each new set. During 4 weeks, many events will take place:

  • January 30: Elite Deck Gift Missions & Handy Card Collection Missions. Obtain a powerful Fire-Type Elite deck with Mega Blaziken ex and Entei ex, and collect useful trainer cards used in meta decks by completing a set of missions.
  • February 1: Monthly Premium Shop Update. The premium accessories are themed around Mega Gardevoir. The log-in reward for Premium Pass holders is an Art Rare Jirachi.
  • February 2: Fantastical Parade Emblem Event. Collect emblems and various rewards by winning PvP matches.
  • February 7: Bonus Week Missions. For a week, several missions will be available. Completing them will reward you with Pack Hourglasses, Shinedust and Shop Tickets.
  • February 11: The ranked Match Season 10 (B2) starts! The tenth season of ranked will last until February 25.
  • February 12: Mega Medicham ex Drop event. Get exclusive Mega Medicham ex, Ralts and Mudkip, as well as alternative artworks for Tornadus and Plusle in this Solo Battle event.
  • February 15: Cinderace and Alolan Vulpix Wonder pick event. A Wonder Pick event where you can get Promo Cinderace, Promo Alolan Vulpix and Toxtricity themed accessories in exchange of Event Shop Tickets (Toxtricity).
  • The next set B2a will be released on February 26.

New shop items

Two new emblems: Mega Gardevoir and Ogerpon are purchasable with Emblem Tickets and a cover binder themed after Mega Gardevoir is on the Shop menu!
