Mega Rising (B1) release: Card list, Events, Solo Battles

Mega Rising (B1) is out! The first set of the new B series introduces Mega Pokémon in the TCG, and features Pokémon from various generations.

You can check the full card list on the expansion page. It contains three booster packs: Mega Gyarados, Mega Blaziken and Mega Altaria.

Immersive cards

The immersive card for Mega Rising are Mega Gyarados ex, Mega Blaziken ex and Mega Altaria ex.

Game updates

  • You can now trade cards from all previous sets AND from the current expansion (Mega Rising) as well!
  • You can also now trade cards of the rarity , and !
  • The Share feature is now available! Once per day, share a card of rarity - to one of your friend.
  • You can now automatically collect certain flair if you collect 10 of the same card of rarity up to . To obtain even more flair, you can still do it from the "Obtain Items" menu. From B Series onward, cards will no longer need to be consumed to obtain flair: only Shinedust will.
  • Daily Missions will have more missions, and will also include Wonder Hourglasses as a reward
  • Packs can be favorited.
  • The number of decks has been raised from 20 to 25.
  • The level cap has been raised from 50 to 60.
  • UI improvement.
  • A lottery will be held for Advance Ticket owners, the mysterious ticket given at the very beginning of Pokémon TCG Pocket, with a chance to gain up to 1,200 Pack Hourglasses!

Mega Rising events

Mega Rising will last more than the usual 4-5 weeks and will be the main set for 7 weeks, from October 30 to December 17. A bunch of events will take place during this time:

  • October 30: First Anniversary Celebration Campaign + Special Missions. To commemorate the 1st Anniversary of Pokémon TCG Pocket, a pack of 1 Mega Rising: Mega Gyarados, 1 Mega Rising: Mega Blaziken and 1 Mega Rising: Mega Altaria booster pack will be given to each player. Special missions will also be available to obtain an emblem and other rewards
  • October 30: PROMO Reissue Drop Event 2025. Special solo battles will be available to obtain previously released A series promo packs (except Promo Pack vol. 7)
  • October 30: PROMO Reissue Wonder Pick Event. Cards from Promo A previously available with Wonder Pick Events will reappear in Wonder Pick for 2 weeks! The event shop ticket you earn by completing missions can be exchanged for a promo card at the Event shop.
  • November 1: Monthly Premium Shop Update. The accessories are themed around Mega Blaziken. A new Promo Pikachu card is available for purchase.
  • November 7: Mega Rising Emblem Event. The Emblem event is back! Win PVP matches to earn Mega Rising themed emblems.
  • November 9: Bonus Week Missions. For a week, several missions will be available. Completing them will reward you with Pack Hourglasses, Shinedust and Shop Tickets. During the same week, the Sneak Peek Campaign will be held: there is a chance that you can preview a card from your Wonder Pick before making your final choice.
  • November 18: Mega Pidgeot ex Drop event. Get exclusive Mega Pidgeot ex, Froakie and Petilil, as well as alternative artworks for Luxray and Pidgey (Mega Rising).
  • November 27: Psyduck & Torchic Wonder Pick event. A Wonder Pick event where you can get Promo Psyduck, Promo Torchic and Psyduck themed accessories in exchange of Event Shop Tickets (Psyduck).
  • November 27: The ranked Match Season 8 (B1) starts! The eighth season of ranked will last until December 14.
  • December 1: Monthly Premium Shop Update. The log-in rewards is Mega Absol ex. The accessories are themed around May.
  • December 7: Eevee & Drifblim Wonder Pick event. A Wonder Pick event where you can get Promo Eevee, Promo Drifblim and Mega Gyarados themed accessories in exchange of Event Shop Tickets (Mega Gyarados).

New shop items

New year, new shop! The Premium Set accessories get a new Special Set 02, purchasable with Special Shop Tickets.

Three emblems can be purchased with Emblem Tickets: Mega Gyarados, Mega Blaziken and Mega Altaria, and a cover binder for each of these spotlight Mega Pokémon can be purchased with Shop Tickets.

A limited Music Space backdrop will also be available for purchase.
