Pokémon TCG Pocket is still in its infancy. This page documents all known past and upcoming events of significance that have taken place in the physical world. It is intended as a historical reference to track how the game has manifested beyond its digital form.
Events considered insignificant include minor side events at Pokémon Regionals and similar tournaments. These are typically frequent, brief, and small-scale, often requiring sign-up fees and lacking official presence from the TCG Pocket team.
This list also excludes digital-only campaigns such as gift codes received from purchasing physical products. Instead, it focuses on events, promotions, campaigns, championships, and other happenings where Pokémon TCG Pocket has been explicitly and officially featured in physical form — for example, via stage events, dedicated booths, interactive experiences, or official tournaments.

An event of unknown size and unknown importance is taking place at Times Square around the launch of B1 and Megas. We have confirmation that influencers/youtubers will be flown into New York for the event, so it is likely going to be something major. We will update this post once we know more!
Pokémon Pocket Trading Card Game 1st Anniversary Experience & Museum

Leading up to the one year anniversary of Pocket, an interactive experience and Pokémon TCG museum will be available at multiple locations around Europe. There will be a stamp hunt for TCG rewards, and also, a Pokémon TCG Pocket 1st Anniversary Museum stamp hunt for a 24 hourglasses gift code. There will also be an exhibition of 10 digital murals showcasing dynamic card art and immersive animations, exciting battles, and more from the game's diverse expansions. Demonstration areas will allow you to open booster packs and do Wonder Picks in the Pokémon Pocket TCG.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Plaza

An art gallery–inspired pop-up experience was hosted at Rome, Italy, on 30 Sept. 2025 and 1 Oct. 2025.
During this event, Trainers can look forward to experiencing the artwork of cards available in Pokémon TCG Pocket in a gallery-inspired setting themed around three different Pokémon habitats — beach, mountain desert and grasslands. This event comes as Pokémon TCG Pocket approaches its first anniversary and features on-site activities including a scavenger hunt, a photo opportunity celebrating booster pack artworks, and comments from popular Pokémon TCG card artists on the artwork they created for in-app cards. During this event, Trainers can look forward to experiencing the artwork of cards available in Pokémon TCG Pocket in a gallery-inspired setting themed around three different Pokémon habitats — beach, mountain desert and grasslands. Pokémon Worlds 2025 - Anaheim
Date: August 15–17, 2025
Location: Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, California
Pokémon TCG Pocket secured a more prominent presence at this year’s World Championships. There was a dedicated Pocket trading area, allowing players to meet up and trade cards directly within the app. A teaser for an upcoming set was also showed at the closing ceremony.
The main highlight was a larger Pocket tournament on Saturday, August 16 at 10:00 AM. This event offered pretty big prizes (physical booster packs) to the Top 8 finishers, with special recognition for the overall champion.
In addition to the main tournament, three more casual side event tournaments took place over the weekend, a now common tradition at major TCG events.
Pokemon Sports Day 2025 - Seoul
Date: June 7–8, 2025
Location: COEX Exhibition Center Hall B, Seoul, South Korea
Pokémon Sports Day 2025 marked South Korea’s first multi-division Pokémon event of this kind. It combined the annual Korean League finals for the TCG, the Pokémon Trainer’s Cup finals for the video game, and — for the first time — a special influencer tournament for Pokémon TCG Pocket.
The Pocket tournament was streamed live on a big stage in front of an audience. You can watch the finals via the VOD linked here.
Additionally, a dedicated booth experience was available in the exhibition center. This booth is a refreshed version of the booth used at Pokémon World 2025, also in Seoul, Korea. While that booth was themed around Shining Revelry, this one featured the Extradimensional Crisis theme. Visitors could complete simple missions to earn a gift code for 12 hourglasses.
Pokémon Town 2025 – Seoul
Date: April 25 – May 18, 2025
Location: Lotte World Mall, Seoul, South Korea
Pokémon Town 2025 featured a large Ditto-themed "town"/park with Pokémon-themed shops, activities, and booths. One booth, themed after Shining Revelry, allowed visitors to complete easy missions and receive stickered gift codes for 12 hourglasses. These same gift codes and booth design were later reused at Pokémon Sports Day 2025.

Pokémon Outernet
Date: November 9–10, 2024
Location: Outernet, London, UK
To celebrate the launch of Pokémon TCG Pocket, fans were invited to interact with the game on giant immersive screens at the Outernet’s Now Trending space. You could open digital packs and view your cards in larger-than-life fashion.
If you discovered a hidden 4-Diamond rarity Pikachu ex card at the venue, showing it to staff granted you a code redeemable for a Sitting Pikachu Poké Plush with a qualifying purchase at Pokémon Center.
Additional Pokémon-themed activities were also available at the venue.
Insignificant event example: Double Deck Constructed at Pokémon Regionals
Since around December 2024 or January 2025, many Pokémon Regional Championships have included small Double Deck Constructed side events for TCG Pocket. These are considered minor events and are not featured individually in the main list.

Example: Stockholm Regionals 2025
Date: March 22–23, 2025
Location: Stockholmsmässan, Stockholm, Sweden
This event featured a three-round TCG Pocket tournament where players competed using two different decks, needing a win with each to progress. With only four participants, the event was intimate but notable. You can read more in our article: A Tale of TCG Pocket at Stockholm Pokémon Regionals 2025.
Similar side events have taken place at most regional championships since early 2025.
