Pokémon Champions is scheduled for release on mobile devices on June 17, 2026. Preregistration is already available on the App Store and Google Play. This release date coincides with the introduction of the new Regulation M-B format, which will bring new Pokémon and likely many new items as well.
Players who have previously played Pokémon Champions on Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 will be able to transfer their account data to the mobile version and play seamlessly across platforms by linking their Nintendo Account.
To celebrate the mobile launch, an in-game campaign will allow players to obtain a Raichu along with two Mega Stones, Raichunite X and Raichunite Y, enabling it to Mega Evolve into either of its new forms introduced in Pokémon Legends Z-A. On this occasion, the abilities of both Mega Evolutions have also been revealed:
- Mega Raichu X has Electric Surge, which creates Electric Terrain for five turns when it enters battle, boosting the power of Electric-type moves.
- Mega Raichu Y has No Guard, an ability that causes all moves it uses to never miss.
