What are the exclusive cards?

This event features Promo Pack A Series Vol. 4 which contains only exclusive Promo cards. The best way to get it is by completing the Expert challenge over and over again: it's a guaranteed reward. In earlier stages, it can drop as a reward too, but it's a percentage chance.

The highlight from this pack is Cresselia ex. There's a 12.66% chance to open Cresselia ex in a Promo Pack A Series Vol. 4. It is exclusive to this event. Its effect mirrors that of Darkrai ex from Space-Time Smackdown.

The booster pack contains 4 other cards:

  • Electivire, which is the same as Electivire from Space-Time Smackdown except for the new artwork. There's a 15.82% chance to open it.
  • Misdreavus, an exclusive card from this event. There's a 23.84% chance to open it.
  • Turtwig and Skarmory. They're all alternative art versions for their Space-Time Smackdown counterpart. There's a 23.84% chance to open any of it.

How to beat the Cresselia ex event decks?

Most efficient decks

Cresselia decks are weak to and the battle task rewards for Beginner and Intermediate challenge include knocking out an Active Pokémon with an attack from a type. There are many Pokémon and archetypes, especially after the release of Space-Time Smackdown:

Low rarity Battle Task

To complete a battle Task in Advanced and Expert mode, you have to win the game with a deck containing only cards of the , and rarity. You only have to do it once. Here are strong archetypes fit to complete this challenge:

Sleeping Battle Task

A Battle task requires to deal the Sleeping status once in Intermediate difficulty. Among the most accessible cards that can make your opponent's Pokémon Asleep, here are some popular picks:

Darkrai Rare - Space-Time Smackdown (A2) #109

Darkrai from Space-Time Smackdown

Straight from the Dialga pack, this one also hits for Weakness!

Flabébé Common - Mythical Island (A1a) #36

Flabébé from Mythical Island

The only card to deal the Sleeping status, and it doesn't need to evolve!

Hypno Rare - Genetic Apex (A1) #125

Hypno from Genetic Apex

You don't need any Energy to use Hypno's Sleep Pendulum! However, you have to hit heads.

Jigglypuff Common - Promo A (PROMO-A) #22

Jigglypuff from Promo-A

If you played the Venusaur Drop event, you probably have one of those. It works with any type of Energy!

You can also use the Wigglytuff ex Rental Deck that you obtain after completing the 13th Guide in "Battle". Evolve Jigglypuff into Wigglytuff ex, attach 3 Energy and use its Sleepy Song attack!

You only need to inflict the status once, and you don’t have to win the game afterward: you can concede immediately after putting the Defending Pokémon to sleep and still get the reward!

How do solo events work?

This event consists of facing Cresselia-themed CPU decks at multiple stages. For each stage, there will be first-clear rewards when you win for the first time, access to the next level of difficulty as well as a random chance for drop rewards.
